30 Days of Pride - Day 30
Teddy ran down the stairs from the room at the top of the Burrow. He had spent the night with his dad’s. His moms were in the kitchen helping Nana Molly with breakfast.
Teddy ran in to the biggest tree with so many presents and all his family.
Uncle Harry and Uncle Draco sat on the couch. Uncle Ron and Aunt Mione sat on the floor. He ran to get hugs and kisses.
The other side of the room was Aunt Ginny and Auntie Luna. Uncle Percy and Uncle Bill. Uncle Charlie walked in and Teddy ran for a big hug. Last one to come downstairs was Uncle George and Teddy went to sit in his lap.
Teddy had the biggest most amazing family.
–
Remus and Tonks had broken up shortly after the war realizing that neither one was happy because they loved other people. This left Teddy with four parents. Remus, Sirius, Tonks and Fleur. Daddy, papa padds, mommy, and mama.
Then people just kept coming into his life. Uncle Harry his godfather and his husband Draco. Hermione and Ron are Harry’s family so they became regular babysitters when Harry and Draco couldn’t take him.
Ron would take Teddy to the shop where George fell in love with him, Teddy was the person to really pull George back.
Then Ginny started coming round and playing with him and introduced him to her wife Luna. Molly began inviting everyone over and before anyone knew what was happening all the Weasley’s became aunts and uncles too.
–
Many Christmases later the house was shaking with movement. Ron and Hermione had two kids Rose and Hugo and they were in the corner opening presents. Ginny had become a surrogate for Harry and Draco and carried three healthy babies for them. Their oldest James, middle Albus and littlest one Lily. Lily was nothing if not obsessed with Teddy and was running over to show him all her presents.
Nana Molly sat knitting in a corner while Teddy watched his dad’s curled up in an arm chair exchanging presents.
His mums were in the kitchen getting breakfast up for the hords of kids.
Teddy looked around.
It took a village and he had an army.
